Here are some suggestions:
- Setup your own essay competition. Setup your own enlightenment project!!
I suggest hosting the competition in a part of the world where the education
system in particularly weak, poverty is rampant, and the use of rationality in
daily life is rare. We suggest finding a place with a weak economy because it
is cheaper for you to sponsor, and the cash prizes you award (assuming you choose
to award cash prizes) will be more significant to the participants (assuming you
are from the United States, Canada, UK, or a country with reasonably high value
currency). We will post the results and pictures on this website for others to see.
- Volunteer to teach kids in your local community HOW to think. Of course, this
requires that you are a believer in the core assumptions listed on this site.
And send us your story and pictures - we will post them on this website!
- Tell me a story about the day you or someone you know learned to think independently. Tell me about previous beliefs that you have let go of, and what led to your own 'enlightenment'. Were you raised to believe in certain things that you now consider false? How has your new found self-awareness changed your life? I may consider posting some of your stories on this website (respecting your privacy, of course) or contact you to hear more for articles I write from time to time.
Please do not send money to me. This is not a registered charity, and I do not have the ability to provide tax receipts. If you insist on donating money somewhere, I have plenty of ideas and am happy to share them - just email me.
